Why not add a personal touch to your logo or watermark by creating a custom brush in Photoshop from your own signature? This quick and easy Photoshop tutorial shows you the simple steps to making a unique logo for your photos.

Watermarks are also a great way to protect your images and identify them as your own once you’ve shared them online. The professional touch of a personalised signature makes it so the overall feel of the image isn’t affected.

Once you’ve made your custom brush with your signature, you’ll want to stamp everything with it! Have a play around with different colours, sizes, opacities and placement. Why stop there? Create any custom brush from writing or sketches.

You could pay a company to make a generic signature and logo that looks like everyone else’s, or you could spend 10 minutes making something unique and personal. Once you try it for yourself and see how easy it is, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

To begin, you’ll just need to write your signature on a white piece of paper with a black marker. Practice it a few times to get it just the way you like it. Or if you have a friend that has nicer hand writing than you, ask them to do it for you. Then simply take a photo of the paper with your signature on it and upload it to your computer. When you’re in Photoshop you can add text in any font with your website, company name, motto, slogan or just your own name.
